"stag", "olive wood", "cinnamon br." vel "antique bronze"), rarius gilvo, marginem versus in striis radialibus aut centro concolori aut magis griseo, dehydratione superficieis hygrophanae pallescente usque ad gilvum vel dilute sordide ochraceum vel pallidum, interdum iam in vegetis inter strias pallido, glabro, per quartam partem vel duas tertias radii pellucide striato in maturis, nonnumquam etiam sulcato, raro leniter radiatim canaliculato-sulcato, sed typica haud rugoso, campanulato vel interdum conico-campanulato, dein campanulato-convexo vel convexo, demum applanato, subumbonato vel umbonato aut ex toto obtuso, 11-31 mm lato. - Lamellis avellaneo-griseis vel griseis, dein atrogriseis vel griseo-subfuligineis, acie plerumque albis, sat latis vel latis, frequenter ventricosis, confertis vel subconfertis, plerumque confertis, adnexis vel adnatis, raro sinuato-adnexis. Sporis in massa nigris. - Stipite albo, demum pallido, appresse subsericeo-fibrilloso in parte inferiore vel glabro vel glabrescente, ad apicem pruinato, ceterum frequenter nitidiusculo, aequali vel basin versus vel ad basin leniter incrassato, 20-75 x 1.5-5 mm; mycelio basali albo-fibrilloso; velo albo, sericeo, tenuissimo ad marginem pilei et in parte inferiore stipitis sed fugacissimo, numquam manifeste appendiculato vel armillato in maturis, vix manifesto in juvenilibus. - Contexto subtenui et carnoso in pileo, perfragili et albo in stipite, inodoro. - Sporis (8.5)-9-11.3 x 4-5.8 µ, ellipsoideis vel anguste ellipsoideis, porphyrio-sepiaceis, levibus, poro germinativo apicali, late truncato hyalino praeditis, interdum contentu subtiliter granulosulo repletis. - Hymenio e besidiis et cystidiis efformato et cheilocystidiis marginato. Basidiis 18-19.5 x 8-9 µ, tetrasporis. Cheilocystidiis dimorphis, (1) vesiculosis, (2) ampullaceis, omnibus tenui-tunicatis et intergris, hyalinis vel subhyalinis, raro intus fuscidulus, typi (1): 19-40 x 12.5-19 µ; typi (2): 20-40 x 5.8-12 µ. Cystidiis metuloideis, numerosis, 40-89 x 12-21-(23.5) µ, ampullaceis, apice (4.5)-8-9.5 µ lato sursum appendicibus dactylomorphis (0-1)-2-4-(5), erectis, obtusis, 3-10 x 2.5-4 µ (in cystidiis juvenilibus saepe subnodulosis, in vetustis saepe bifurcatis) ornatis, membrana crassiuscula (0.3-1.3 µ diam., in juvenilibus saepe tenuiucula) instructis, intus pigmenti dissoluti causa, fuscidulo-hyalinis vel fuscidulis, superne mucilagineo-incrustatis exudati causa quod ammoniaci ope virescit aut viridi-caerulescit; hoc pigmentum in solutione ammoniacali diffunditur ita ut interdum etiam guttulae sporarum leniter virescant. - Hyphis fibulatis, in tramate pilei brunneis. - Epicute pilei hyalina, ex elementis vesiculosis hymeniformiter dispositis efformata, cellulis e. gr. 40 x 28 µ. - Ad humum nec non ad cortices, folio delapsa, culmos Chusqueae, lignum et quisquilias silvestres, solitario vel gregatim, vernalis et autumnalis (f. typica). "Sporis 9.5-12.3 x (5.5)-5.8-6.5 µ distinguitur. Pileus hic obtusus vel obtusatus est. Cystidia frequenter membranas crassiores (1-4 µ) et nonnullus appendices sterigmatoideos et acutos, alios obtusos habent. Typus: ARGENTINIA: Neuquén: Cerro Colorado, 9/10-III-1959, Singer M 1731 (BAFC). - Paratypus: Rio Negro: Cerro Catetral, 29-IV-1965, Singer M 5350 (BAFC).
Haec forma aestate et autumnolecta ad terram et prope (non ad) truncos Nothofagi pumilionis. Sporae in massa fuligineo-sepiaceae sunt (ignoramus an usque ad nigrum variant vel ab eis typi differunt). In tribus formis cognotis discoloratio mucilaginis cystidiorum eam in Psathyrella multipedata et P. lutensi descriptam in mentem revocat, sed ab his speciebus quin distinctae sint haud dubitamus."

"Pileo rugoso (fusco, dehydratatione pallescente). Sporis 8.5-9.5 x 4-5.5 µ, cornubus cystidiorum saepe denticulato-fimbriatis, denticulis subacutis vel acutis. - Ceterum ut in typo f. dactylocystdis. Typus formae: ARGENTINA: Neuquén: Puerto Manzano, 5-IV-1963, Singer M 3282 A (BAFC).
Haec forma autumno lecta ad terram sub Austrocedro et Nothofago dombeyi. Pileus omnino obtusus est, sed aubumbonatus variat."

Hut 11-31 mm breit, campanulat bis konvex, manchmal gebuckelt, braun bis grau, Velum flüchtig.
Lamellen grau bis schwärzlich, Schneiden weiß.
Stiel 20-75 x 1,5-5 mm, weiß, befasert.
Sporen (8,5-) 9-11,3 x 4-5,8 µm, ellipsoid, Keimporus groß, bräunlich.
Basidien 4-sporig.
Cheilozystiden 20-40 x 5,8-12 µm, utriform, untermischt mit clavaten Zellen, 19-40 x 12,5-19 µm.
Pleurozystiden 40-89 x 12-21 (-23,5) µm, lageniform bis subutriform, oft apikal gegabelt oder mit mehreren Fortsätzen, Wände verdickt und gelblich, mit apikalen, in Ammoniak grünlichen Anlagerungen.
Schnallen vorhanden.
