Originalbeschreibung / original description:
"P. acinosa. R.
Herbaceous, erect, ramosus. Leaves oblong. Flowers decandrous. Berries composed of from six to eight distinct acini.
A native of Nepal. It flowers abou the end of the cool and the beginning of the hot season in the Botanic garden at Calcutta. The leaves are used by the natives of Napal in their diet."
